A group of mercenaries track a wealthy business man, who set them up on a mission to Mexico that nearly killed them, to an island in the Indian Ocean to seek payback. Soon the group falls prey to a group of psychotic mercenaries-turned pirates and a loose cannon from their group. Soon the group realizes that the pirates are the least of their problems and find that the island is part of a living hell.

Off the coast of Brazil a group of miners find something at their work site. Soon they are killed by an unknown entity wreaking havoc along the island. A taskforce from Rio is sent to the island to rescue the CEO of the company stationed on the island. When they get there, they find very little signs of recent human activity.
