UPDATED 5/21/2014 Sequel to Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League.
Clark Kent, along with Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen, follow reports of a young woman with powers similar to Superman's. Clark quickly discovers, to his shock and surprise, that the woman in question is Kara, who is not only a fellow surviving Kryptonian but also a member of the House of El. Clark brings Kara to the Kent Farm in Smallville, where he gives her a home with his adoptive mother Martha and teaches Kara how to control her powers.
If that weren't enough, Lex Luthor sets into motion a sinister plan to destroy Superman, whom he denounces as a threat to humanity, and enlists the help of General Sam Lane, Lois' estranged father, to carry out his scheme. When Luthor's plan ends up putting Metropolis in serious peril, it falls to the Man of Steel to save the day, with a helping hand from Kara, who takes on the mantle of Superwoman.
