Pennsylvania, USA - Two weeks after the outbreak of a virus named “Green Flu” has decimated and mutated the population, four immune survivors band together to escape the city of Fairfield. But the mutations have gotten worse. The undead population attack the group relentlessly in massive hordes as they try by any means necessary to escape Pennsylvania, only to be faced with the possibility that the entire world has been infected by the virus!
Bill; a Vietnam vet, finds himself back in his old Green Beret uniform when those infected with the green flu become the human flesh-hungry, mutating walking dead. The survival of his three friends of circumstance can only be the result of his knowledge and experience of combat strategy, even if one of them is a neurotic pill-popping office worker.
Zoey; the failing college student, horror film buff and peanut butter addict was first taught how to shoot a gun by her own dad, a cop with the Fairfield Police Dept. So when her mother turned and bit her father and the world went to hell, she didn't have much else to lose or learn either way.
Louis; has been struggling all his life, failing to climb the corporate ladder and was previously failing to quit his job as a Junior Systems Analyst before the infected's hostile takeover. Something of a closet-hypochondriac, Louis is swallowing virtually every tub of pills he can get his hands on, whether they're caffeine pills, painkillers, Prozac or Valium. Probably the only character who wants his job back.
Francis; an outlaw biker, notoriously hated everything before the zombie apocalypse. Now that he's free to carry a gun and do pretty much whatever he likes, nothing has changed. Despite his grumpy disposition, he still manages to get along very well with his fellow survivors and sees Bill as a kind of father figure.
