In 1948, Johnathan Mist, a 38 year old WWII fighter, left his home in Chicago and moved to Hollywood with his wife Irene, in hope of Irene becoming a famous actress. There Johnathan joins the police force and with his bright mind and thirst for justice, he quickly becomes the city's top detective. With the help of his partner Ronald White, a narrow-minded “tough guy”, Mist had to solve the case of Big Danny's death.
Big Danny was an overweight Mafia boss and a wise buisnessman. He was found shot dead in an ally way between the Millar Inn (a cheap bar) and an abandoned diner at 11:45p.m on a Wednesday night. Mist quickly learns that the misterious case of the murder of the clever buisnessman, and many other cases he has worked on before will all come together in one epic film.
