Mini-Series which is a remake of the 1970 live-action/animated feature-film based on the book by Norman Juster. Living in an apartment building in San Fransico all alone. Milo, a bored young boy is about to find himself on a adventure, when he recieves an mysterious package and finds it is a tollbooth. But the tollbooth is no ordinary tollbooth, but a magic portal which transports Milo into another world and Milo's toy car takes Milo into the enchanted Kingdom of Wisdom and the cities of Digitopolis and Dictionopolis. Joined by his companion, The watchdog Tick, Milo embarks in a series of adventures across the Mountains of Ignorance, the Doldrums, Dictionopolis, Digitopolis and the Castle in the Air. As Milo and Tick set off to rescue Princess Rhyme and Reason, who are being held prisoners in the Castle in the Air and restore the Kingdom of Wisdom and end the war between Digitopolis and Dictionopolis. But along the way Milo and Tick encounter strange and eccentric people such as Dr. Dischord, The Mathemagican, King Azaz, The Senses Taker and Officer Short Shrift…
