In the peaceful suburban province of Forest Hill, Sean and his wolf friends Rain and Blood talk and dream about seeing the outside world. With Sean out of high school and on the verge of his 18th birthday, they decide to make their dream a reality. One summer day the three friends pack up for a big road trip to venture outside their quiet little town.
Little do they know that a great destiny awaits them…That night, a mysterious, terrible darkness invades the town, and Sean is separated from his friends.
He awakens in a strange place called Gadget Town. Although his dreams of seeing other worlds has been realized, Rain and Blood are nowhere in sight.
Meanwhile, three other travelers have arrived in Gadget Town: Royal Magician Rob, Royal Knights Captain Hobbes, and Royal Ranger Captain Cody. They have come from the Kingdom of Canis on orders of their missing ruler, Lord Storm. One day he had mysteriously vanished, leaving only a cryptic message behind:
“I have received a vision, one foretelling of danger on the far horizon. I’d hate to leave all of you like this, but I have to check into this.
Now, listen very carefully: There is someone with a ‘key’ out there, the key to our very survival, one that appeared in my vision. We’ll all be in grave danger without it.”
What is happening to the worlds?
The human with the “key” Lord Storm mentioned turns out to be Sean. When they eventually meet, Sean joins forces with Rob, Hobbes, and Cody. Together, the four heroes must travel to many different worlds in order to find their missing friends and combat the growing darkness.
