An adaptation of the Metroid series, depicting the origins of Samus Aran and her first mission.
Samus Aran lived with her parents Rodney and Virginia at the space colony K-2L. There she eventually befriended the Chozo Elder Old Bird who she nicknamed Grandpa and he gave her Pyonchi as a pet.
Soon afterwards however the colony is attacked by Space Pirates led by the vicious alien Ridley, and both of her parents were killed. She was the sole survivor.
She was found, adopted raised by, and trained by the Chozo. She was infused with Chozo blood giving her heightened physical characteristics as well as given the power suit.
She eventually left and joined the Federation Police under the command of Adam Malkovich, and served alongside Kreatz and Mauk. Although a few years later Samus vanishes, single-handedly hunting down Space Pirates.
She returns after years of absence to learn that the Chozo's home world of Zebes, and she is sent in to stop the Space Pirates staying there who have stolen Metroid Specimens from the Federation.
There she must face the space pirates, Kraid, the Mother Brain, and the creature that killed her parents Ridley.
