The city of Verona is seeing the feud between the Montague and Capulet families grow in strength and ferocity. This is far from the minds of Romeo, the only child of Lord Montague. He is nursing a broken heart after Rosalind, one of the wealthiest young ladies in the city, scorns his declaration of love for her. This gloom ends when he catches sight of Juliet, the only child of the Capulets. In spite of their families hatred for one another, they fall in love with one another. Unfortunately, the aminosity between various factions of both clans cast a shadow of their romance, and events take a dark and tragic turn.
