EQUALIZER is a British spin-off series of the 1980's Action Drama series THE EQUALIZER. EQUALIZER is set 20-Years after the final episode ‘'Suicide Squad’'. Returning home to London, England after attending the funeral of distant relative, Ex government assassin turned vigilante private detective Robert McCall in New York City. Ultra-tough Ex British Hired Mercenary with a troubled past and Alcholic Callan McQueen sets out to clean up his act and to rethink his life and to make peace with his Ex wife Karen and his estranged mother Elizabeth and tries to reconnect with his 20-year old son Bradley. After Bradley is brutally attacked by a street gang, and the police won't do anything about it. After learning what McCall did for a living back in New York City, Callan decides to set up his own private buisness and like McCall, he becomes a vigilante problem-solver called ‘'Equalizer’' who works outside police radar and offers to help people who have been wronged by the law and have had no help from the police, and advertises his buisness on the Internet ‘'Need Help with a Problem? Need Someone to turns the Odds in your favor? Call Equalizer’'. Not alone in helping clients, McQueen is helped by Ex Convict and small-time police informant Mark Reynolds and policewoman DCI Jesse Butler and her partner DCI Ed Stamp. Sometimes, when the workload gets too much for Callan, fellow ‘'Equalizer’' Richard Mitchell stands in to reduce the workload for Callan. But Butler's boss, Sergeant Garth Cranham disapproves of Callan's dangerous private buisness and sets up a ‘'Anti-Equalizer Taskforce’' to take Callan down…
