LEGEND OF THE SEEKER: THE ANIMATED SERIES is a spin-off of the Fantasy Adventure series LEGEND OF THE SEEKER, based on the ‘'Sword of Truth’' books by Terry Goodkind. Richard Cypher is a tracker and Woods Guide who lives in a town called Hartland in the Westland. Richard's life is soon turned upside-down, when he saves the beautiful and mysterious Kahlan Amnell, a ‘'Confessor’' (A woman whose magic powers allow her to control people), and Richard's father is murdered under mysterious circumstances. Richard learns Kahlan is on a mission, as searches for ‘'The Seeker’', a Prophesied Hero who is destined to defeat the evil sorcerer Darken'Rahl, who divides The Westand, the Midlands and D'Hara by a magic wall called ‘'The Boundary’'. Armed with ‘'The Sword of Truth’', Richard and Kahlan, joined by the Wizard Zedd ‘'Zeddicus’' Zul'l Zorander, sets off to crush Darken'Rahl and his evil empire. As Richard is forced to accept he is ‘'The Seeker’' and his destiny is to defeat Darken'Rahl and Kahlan struggles with her love for Richard, fearing her powers will destroy him…
