Drink Til You Puke by Daniel Williamson (Creator)

DRINK TIL YOU PUKE is a 30 Minute British sitcom, each season has 6 episodes. 30-something year old struggling stage actor Gary Rumbellow is depressed, he is loosing leading parts and auditions in ameteur stage plays, his girlfriend Roberta Snow has dumped him because she is bored with him and has ran off with cocky pop star Gavin Cunningham and even more depressing, his parents who he lives with, Ken and Helen won't allow him to leave the house from 7pm - 12midnight and he doesn't get to have a night out. But soon, that is about to change for Gary, one Saturday evening when Ken and Helen have a night out to a Dinner Party and they leave Gary at home to fend for himself and won't be home until 11.30pm. Bored, depressed, with nothing good on TV to watch, Gary decides that he has had enough, and decides to have his own night out down at the local ‘'Drink Til You Puke’' Pub run by Scottish bartender and the object of ladie's desires, Hector Nesbitt. At Hector's pub, Gary soon becomes friends with pompous Darts player Rowan Bowen, Rowan's blonde girlfriend, Secatary Jill Brennan, screamish Off-License shop owner Frank Petersen and Jewish protestor Vicky Conway. At the pub, Gary turns to Hector for advice and Hector gives Gary tips and advice on how to pick up women, whilst Jill effortlessly flirts with Gary, Rowan tempts Gary into playing a game of darts and challenges him to a drinking game, Frank just sits in the corner, chewing his own fingernails and Vicky makes political discussions. In each episode, Gary goes to the pub, whilst his parents have a night out, leaving him at home, which his parents have no knowledge, and later in the series, Gary starts going out with Hector's recently-divorced younger sister, Simone Nesbitt-McAvoy, much to Jill's jealousy and Roberta reappears in Gary's life and now works at the pub as Hector's barmaid and Gavin becomes a regular character. The Theme Song at the beginning of each episode is ‘'Tupthumping’' by Chumbawamba and the song during the end credits at the end of each episode is ‘'I Still What I Haven’t Found What I'm Looking For'' by U2…
