Black Lagoon by Rei Hiroe

While on business in Southeast Asia, Japanese salaryman Rokuro Okajima is kidnapped by the Lagoon Company, a fierce band of modern-day pirates who “sometimes break the rules to put food on the table.” Dutch the Boss; Vietnam veteran, tough and intelligent. Benny the Mechanic; easy-going computer expert. Revy the Two Hands; foul-mouthed, trigger-happy, and always eager for bloodshed. Cut off from his safe, predictable life in Japan and left for dead by his employers, “Rock” joins the team.

Comments

  • Matthew0606: GOod one. Shia LaBeouf would play nicely for Rock. Jason Statham is great for this one.
  • aussie_movie_fan: You missed out on Leigharch. I think Dylan Moran would be PERFECT for Leigharch. You also missed out on Roberta.
