The Joker is supposedly killed by Batman and “comes back to life.” He then forms an alliance with Lex Luthor. The two come up with an ingenious plan to have their greatest enemies, Batman and Superman, kill each other. The Joker discovers Batman's secret identity and kills his butler, Alfred. Batman's rage wants him to get revenge and kill his archenemy, but Superman believes that it will destroy everything Batman believes in. The two then duel, possibly to the death!
