(The third instalment in my Ascendant series)
Greatly inspired by the sacrifices made by both Louise Langdon a.k.a “Platinum Angel” and Vincent Valentine a.k.a “Perseus” that ultimately aided him in the defeat of artificially created super-being Alo, Caleb Conrad has since severed all remaining personal ties to him and has spent the next three years travelling the globe alone in search of other superpowered beings to form a new superhero society he calls “The Legacy” in honour of the fallen heroes he had known and gave their lives for him to restore humanity's faith in superheroes once more. but Caleb's quest is interrupted when he finds himself confronted by a new enemy he never knew he would have to face, the estranged biological son of his deceased mentor/adoptive father, Rian Ritcher, who had been on his trail ever since Caleb publically emerged with his battle against the Unstoppable, and allied himself with the world's most dangerous incarcerated supervillains to stomp out superheroism for good, forcing Caleb to recruit even more help than he could manage, uniting with new allies and reuniting with those he had to leave behind to take on the massive overwhelming threat quickly approaching him and finally prove to the world why they need superheroes… no matter what inescapable personal sacrifice he never thought he would have to make.
MPA Rating: Rated PG-13 for extended sequences of intense sci-fi action and violence, and language.
RETURNING CHARACTERS:
Caleb Conrad - a.k.a “The Ascendant”, main protagonist, a young, hotheaded and reckless superhero-in-training with telekinetic powers.
Natalie Smith - Caleb's love interest, the former personal assistant and public relations director of Sebastian Samuels' who had since taken over his company and completely rectified it in light of Samuels' defeat while struggling to raise her now three-year-old son (Yes, Caleb is the father of her child).

NEW CHARACTERS:
Rian Ritcher - Main antagonist, spiteful estranged biological son (Whom Caleb never knew about) of Caleb's late mentor/adoptive father Robert Ritcher a.k.a “The Bolt”, he has been incredibly towards his father, Caleb and superheroism in general for feeling like he never earned the respect he felt he deserved because he, unfortunately, didn't inherit his father's powers, though his superior knowledge in both mechanical and chemical engineering has allowed him to create an advanced, powerful yet highly dangerous suit that ables him to replicate his father's powers and help him compete with all matter of superpowered individuals.
Lionel Bryce - Secondary antagonist, an accomplice of Rian's and the corrupt and power-hungry warden of The Keep, a high-tech maximum security orbital space-based prison that houses the world's most powerful and dangerous supervillains throughout history.
Mandar Meier - a.k.a “Morph”, a cocky and wily Indian street hustler with the ability to shapeshift into anyone and anything.
Iwan Ickert - a.k.a “Kill Count”. a cybernetically enhanced super-assassin with both the reputation and obsessive-compulsive tendency of tallying up his inhumanly massive record of confirmed kills.
Gabrielle Gates - a.k.a “The Conguress”, a shy and troubled teenage runaway with magical powers who was raised in an abusive religious household believing her existence is a sinful curse upon humanity. (She's essentially this movie's universe's equivalent of Scarlet Witch.)
Kira Kang - a.k.a “Siren”, a seductive and deadly half-human half-fish sea witch with advanced hydrokinesis.
Aaron Allister - a.k.a “Shadow Knight”, a reclusive and cynical billionaire industrialist and retired vigilante and the last living member of the original classic international legion of superheroes that included Robert Ritcher a.k.a “The Bolt” and Louise Langdon a.k.a “Platinum Angel”, who's haunted by a lifetime of soul-crushing betrayals and self-doubt (He's essentially this movie's universe's equivalent of Batman.)
Yeiox - A mysterious telepathic Lovecraftian alien creature who's both the oldest living inmate at The Keep and the world's first recorded supervillain.
