(The sequel to The Resistance)
Following the civilians of the heavily quarantined North America's successful revolt against the Continental Armed Medical Service, after it's revealed that the virus that struck the continent was not a terrorist attack but part of a global government conspiracy to massively reduce the Earth's overpopulation crisis, the rest of the world is now in a frenzy, nations have begun massive demonstrations against their governments, many of the government officials that were behind the conspiracy are being interrogated yet the man directly responsible for the virus' creation, microbiologist Leonard Scofield, has vanished along with the other viruses he was commissioned to make and is now at large, and the two people responsible for inspiring the North American civilians' revolt and the conspiracy's exposure, former CAMS operative Edwin Brandt and IDF soldier Jaida, have both became the most wanted people in the world and had since both decided to go their separate ways and remain in hiding. Edwin is now living peacefully in an isolated fishing village and hasn't seen or heard from Jaida in over a year, though their last encounter and final words they shared between each other has plagued his every thought. But after surviving a sudden attempt on his life, Edwin finds himself in the hands of a group of people calling themselves simply “The Resistance”, made up of renegade members of most of the world's military and law enforcement organizations and inspired by his and Jaida's actions against CAMS, Edwin is then reunited with Jaida as she (being one of the resistance's founding members) had requested for him to be brought in and it's revealed that she had been secretly watching over him since they last saw each other. The Resistance has recently acquired evidence suggesting that Leonard Scofield has allied with some powerful and reasonably dangerous new associates in order to unleash the rest of the viruses upon the world. Edwin and Jaida have been paired up again as they now must trek across Europe in order to infiltrate Scofield's associates and stop a new and more dangerous outbreak from occurring, all while evading the government organizations that are already hunting them, as long as they're able to keep their personal emotions from distracting them.
MPA Rating: Rated R for strong violence throughout, bloody images, language, and brief sexuality.
