Beau Carver is a very complicated young man, no one knows where he came from or even who he really is. He hardly talks, due to him suffering from a terrible stutter, he prefers to keep to himself and tries his best to avoid any social interaction, by all accounts he's a hardcore introvert. He has recently gotten a job as a part-time janitor at a highly sophisticated bank in Chicago, a job that he feels that let him disappear safely and live peacefully. And at first, it all seems to be going very well for him, until one moment changes everything when he came into work as normal only to end up being held hostage in the midst of a heist until his instincts suddenly kick in, revealing him to have unexpectedly remarkable skills in both hand-to-hand combat and marksmanship, he successfully manages to dispatch all the assailants. It turns out that throughout his entire childhood into his teenage years, Beau had suffered terrible abuse from his mentally unstable father who was a former highly trained special forces operative who raised, home-schooled and mercilessly trained Beau into becoming a relentless killing machine, until by the time Beau was 16, he suddenly snapped and supposedly beat his father to death, and for the past 6 years, he has been trying to move on to a better life and disappear forever but still burdened by the physical and mental scars that were inflicted upon him. Since his incident at the bank, Beau has forced himself into hiding only to realise that the situation is about to get a lot worse than he had imagined: the bank he works for is secretly controlled by the mob, the heist he stopped was the result of an intense blood feud between two of Chicago's biggest crime lords, the whole thing was in fact heavily monitored by the FBI who had been conducting a 10-year investigation into a massive extortion ring within America's financial districts. As all three parties begin to take notice of Beau and struggle to find out who he is and how they can try to erase him from the equation, Beau must use the full extent of every skill he has to survive and also protect those he inadvertently put in harm's way.
