After his public outing as Spider-Man in Far From Home, Peter Parker and his Aunt May have gone into hiding with help from Nick Fury and May's boy friend Happy. Fury assures Peter his friends are being watched and are safe, but that old Parker guilt is hard to break. J.Jonah Jameson is attacked on live TV by Spider-Man, with Peter watching at home. While the NYPD and Fury launch separate investigations, JJJ hires mercenary Kraven the Hunter to protect himself. Kraven puts together a team including his half-brother Dmitri, Herman Shultz, Max Gargan, Adrian Toombs, and a mysterious armored person called the Beetle. If that weren't enough, Peter's Avengers teammates want to bring him in as well. Except for T'Challa and Shuri, who seem more concerned with taking out Kraven.
