(This is not connected to the Slasherverse that I've been doing, this is just my own loose continuation of the original Nightmare On Elm Street series.)
For many years, the people of Springwood, Ohio have been haunted by the memories of a man named Fred “Freddy” Krueger, also known as The Springwood Slasher, an infamous and sadistic serial killer whose modus operandi was stalking and killing the children of the town, but after the courts failed, the vengeful parents of the town tracked him down and killed him by burning him alive, only for him to return as a powerful undead dream demon and swore vengeance against the people who killed him by hunting and murdering their children in their dreams. Now, it has been 27 years since Freddy's reign of terror had seemingly ended, and Springwood is desperately trying to bury its horrific past for good and move to a better and brighter future. But upon approaching the 40th anniversary of his initial death, Freddy has returned to reclaim his throne of terror over the town with a vengeance, this time, he has brought the full force of hell with him and every single living person in Springwood is his prey… no-one is safe!
MPAA Rating: Rated R for strong violence/terror, disturbing bloody images, language, and brief sexuality/nudity.
