PLOT: Hannah McCormick has been in love since childhood with her childhood friend, Adam Richards. They even began dating when Hannah was 17 and Adam was 15. However, a family tragedy cause them to break things off. Ten years later, Hannah is now a New York building secretary, and Adam works as a waiter at a restaurant. When Hannah is fired from her job, she decides to go back to her hometown of Knoxville where she is reunited with her father, Lawrence and her brother, Brandon as well as her other best friend, Megan Fitzgerald. While eating out at a restaurant one night, she runs into Adam, who still catches her eye. Now Hannah's wealthy fiance, Wade Cunningham comes into town, and is unaware of the fact that Hannah still loves Adam. Even Adam's parents, sister and brother know he still loves Hannah.
