My entry for Volume 2 of the Marvel Rebirth Franchise; my take on X-Men, ignoring the Fox Universe and going down a more grounded, character developing route.
Mutants are as of yet unknown to the world at large. Professor Xavier however is once such mutant with the ability to communicate telepathically with others. This aspiring idealist wants to ready the world for the eventual reveal of Mutants and promote peaceful co existence. For this very purpose, he has trained and educated five gifted youngsters he calls the X-Men to be the poster children and foremost representatives of Mutantkind and what they can offer to the world.
However the powerful mutant Magneto strikes first revealing the existence of Mutants through a vicious attack upon the UN council this act paints mutants in a negative light. Magneto promotes the supremacy of mutantkind and together with his Brotherhood plans to uplift and shape mutantkind into the dominant species of the planet.
Charles Xavier, having been unable to foresee this, attempts to paint mutants in a positive light and salvage his plan by dispatching the X-Men to combat the brotherhood and save the UN councilors.
MPPA: Rated PG-13 for intense sequences of violence, action and destruction, brief strong language, and some suggestive images.
- The X-Men and Brotherhood members would be in their mid to late 20's
-The film's style and tone would be a mixture of The Maze Runner and Star Wars having (the feeling for survival, teamwork, triumph, or stake-raising circumstances.)
- Unlike the previous X-Men Films which only focuses on certain characters every character in the film would get development and their own arch.
-A little romance between Jean and Scott would be teased leaving any further ideas of a further romantic connection be teased for future X-Men Movies.
