The cyborg rival/buddy cop duo Jack Lancer and Jeff Marson have been inactive for a while now, ever since Core Prime had fallen and the Power Crew had disbanded, they've spent their time trying to adjust to their new biomechanical forms as well as attempting to stand each other in order to have a functional and sustainable working relationship. But soon they go right back into the swing of things as they are attempting to bring down a powerful and ruthless crime boss and arms dealer named Odette Zondaar, who has made her business off of collecting, refurbishing and selling advanced weapons and tech from throughout both generations of the Power Crew's existence to the highest bidder. Lancer and Marson learn that Zondaar is now the trail of something known as the Infinity Engine, which turns out be a giant mysterious alien machine buried deep within the Earth for thousands of years (Located beneath the Atacama desert) and it's now just beginning to wake up, but what they don't realize is that the Infinity Engine's awaking will bring about an end to all life on earth.
