Following shortly after the events of The Dark Chasers: Gold & Silver, Max Wincott a.k.a the Wraith is back on run after being released by dark chaser Mathilda Aylmer claiming he is not evil at all. Max has since become an anti-social homeless drifter desperately trying to disappear forever as well as struggling to control his malevolent link to the dark force and Mathilda's words and actions of letting him go haunt him greatly despite the fact that he despises the concepts of love and family. Max soon finds himself in Moscow, Russia where he is forced against his own will into a sinister series of events when a group of Russian military officials are trying to jumpstart an ancient experimentation program from the Soviet era partially affiliated with CHIMERA wherein they attempt to weaponise the dark force for their government's own needs.
MPAA Rating: Rated R for strong and disturbing violence throughout, and language.
CHARACTERS: (Note: Apart from Max and some other supporting characters, the rest of the supporting cast has to be Russian.)
Max Wincott - Main protagonist, a disgraced former government scientist who was brought back from the dead by a dark force to become a powerful and vengeful wraith.
Iason Terramoff - Main antagonist, a well-respected and celebrated Russian military general and a loving family man who only wants to do whatever he can to protect his loved ones and he sees weaponising the dark force as a way to do so but he is eventually consumed and corrupted by the dark force and transforms into a being even more dangerous than the Wraith. (He's meant to essentially be the opposite of Max in that whereas Max hates the concept of family and love, everything Terramoff does is to protect his family and the ones he loves, but goes to show that even a good man with a good heart and good intentions can be corrupted and turned by darkness.)
Eliza Steinbeck - A young and somewhat hotheaded undercover CIA operative assigned to expose and bring down the program.
Tim Grayson - A police captain who was once a trusted ally of The Sentinel and is now determined to hunt Max after he killed his own family.
Yuriy - A homeless former Spetsnaz operative suffering from PTSD and has some in-depth knowledge about the old program.
Dr Yessel Grakoravich - Secondary antagonist, the head scientist behind the program who is the only surviving person from the program's history and has an intense god complex.
Arlos Delsky - Terramoff's young and ruthless second-in-command.
Meria Terramoff - Terramoff's wife.
