For those who don't know before they made the 1988 TV show of War of the Worlds George Romero was going to direct a remake of War of the Worlds this is what I would do if they asked me to write it back in 1984.
The story revolves around a little girl named Rachel visiting her grandfather during the war of the Worlds. They soon meet up with doctor Byron Forester, dr. Sylvia Robinson add doctor Robert Pryor all hiding in a man's basement named Dior Draven. Meanwhile outside General Herbert man is Fighting the War of the Worlds it's man against machine.
Mitch “Chevelle” Sampson - age 61 a World War II veteran. Got his nickname because he loves his 1967 Chevelle SS. He is a real man's man and very rugged-looking
Rachel Sampson - age 10, very smart for her age but still is very scared of the war machines her grandfather always tries to comfort her in these situations
Dr. Byron Forrester - age
60, another member of the team who was a World War II veteran. He is an astrologist had sort of an older Indiana Jones type of guy
Dr. Sylvia Robinson - age 20 this is Doctor Foresters Young Apprentice she's a very strong woman very smart and forms a sister type relationship with Rachel
Five-star general Herbert Mann age 72, - a combination of General George S Patton add general Douglas MacArthur. He will stop at anything to kill the war machines he is the antagonist
Dr. Robert Pryor- age 63, him and dr. Forrester have been friends forever they grew up together they went to war together they studied at the same College together they are just the best of friends. He is a very smart man but kind of a nerdy type hero
Dior Draven - age 45 - a big game he is a great big game hunter he is a great shot with a rifle. Easily another man's man type of character him and Chevelle Clash a lot
