Entry 1 of a new Lone Wolf trilogy for the fans on IC which will focus around the same characters in the series along with Vincent Garcia's Payton-Marcus universe. Keep in mind that all these events take place after Lone Wolves: Final Ground and the events of Payton-Marcus: The Birth of Anon are completely altered due to Black Wolf/Sean Hawkins resetting the timeline by going back in time to stop the Soul Killer.
2078, the world where extermination was the only option. The Lone Wolves have changed for the worse, and only one can remember all the events that took place within resetting the future. Miles de Bond and William Payton-Marcus are established partners depending on humanoid soldiers and drones to kill out the remaining colonies with the bloodthirsty mutants. Although the vampire virus is slowly coming to an end, Miles and William are becoming of little value to society due to their fast-paced determination and high expectations of bringing humanity back to normal. But Payton-Marcus and his crew have something up their sleeves…
James Smith (formerly Anon) is a young cadet who has trained under Miles and William without much memory of his abilities and is often sent on missions to investigate the whereabouts of the vampires, usually turned down to see the experiments Payton-Marcus and his crew are starting. Sean Hawkins (RAGE/Black Wolf) is a high-level soldier still out for blood against the vampires after losing his uncle to the creatures but is very protective of his sister Marlene (Fury Wolf). What he doesn't know is Marlene is the only person with memories of the timelines with the Soul Killer and without the Soul Killer, causing the young woman to have hysterical and psychological breakdowns as a result of the time change and paranoia.
But with the conspiracies and lack of subjects involving vampires becoming an issue, another potential solar flare is on the rise, which could obliterate Earth this time and leave no survivors and signs of life. Plans go awry when the conspiracy goes bad and a mysterious figure from Anon's old timeline falls into play.
MPAA: Rated R for intense sequences of brutal violence and gore throughout including terror and strong language.
Note #1: Check out the comment sections for my take on the first entry of the story.
Note #2: Inspiration is drawn from “Logan” theme-wise and the I Am Legend book; the superpowers that the Lone Wolves had are absent, although James and Marlene are the only people to have been infected with the vampire serum, the latter being worse.
James Smith - Formerly Anon; a 27-year old highly-trained soldier without an alien soul and is immune to some of the vampire effects and Miles de Bond's biological son.
Sean Hawkins - Formerly RAGE/Black Wolf; an agile and rough soldier who is suspicious of Miles and Payton-Marcus's future but protective of his sister Marlene.
Marlene Hawkins - Formerly Fury Wolf; Sean's younger sister and a well-respected soldier with psychotic behavior from the mutating virus and memories of the previous timeline.
Miles de Bond - Ruthless and motivated soldier who wants to clear out the vampires and restore humanity; he is James's biological father.
William Payton-Marcus - Big-shot billionaire and explorer who doesn't want the vampire era to end.
He devises a conspiracy to kill Miles and form an army of vampire soldiers and humanoid soldiers.
Sebastian Payton-Marcus - William's brother who believes there is still hope in curing the vampires and acts as a supervisor for James and Sean on their missions.
Kyra - A mysterious girl from James's timeline who claims to have seen his time as a super soldier.
