In the year 2069, a boy and two thieves trying to survive in a post-apocalyptic encounter a traveling circus where the boy develops a forbidden friendship with a very rare and strange creature only known as Comet, he's the last of his kind.

NOTE: Imagine The Road, a little bit of Elysium and Pete's Dragon or any boy and his creature movie. At times the movie is going to feel like kids movie, but it's not, this is a very hard PG-13 movie. The movie is going to have a dark tone, with some emotional moments, but it's also a very hopeful and inspiring movie. The movie also is going to have great cinematography and visual effects.
RATED PG-13 for some violence, frightening images and brief strong language
SOUNDTRACK BY M83 (Oblivion)
Dale Sanders: A 9 year old boy who lost his parents in a cannibal ambush when he was a baby, and during all of his life he has been living with the two thieves who saved him. He is still living with the trauma of the death of his parents, and he sometimes argues with the thieves because he's aware that they are not their real parents. He was a very sad boy until he met Comet, which made him believe that there might be a spark of hope in this dark world.
Comet: A weird and hairy creature who almost looks like a mammoth (although he is not that big, but not too small either). He was called Comet by his abusive owner Korey Holland. He's able to understand very well the human language, but he only comunicates with grunts and with his eyes movements. He wants to live a peaceful life away from danger. Despite his weight, he runs very fast. Played by a motion capture actor.
Willy Colton: A mid 40s thief who looks menacing, but he has a heart of gold. He has been like a father for Dale since the day he saved him from a cannibal ambush years ago. He, along with Dale and Matt wander around the woods, highways and city ruins, trying to steal people's food and supplies, and constantly escaping from peril in order to survive. Willy is a guy who's depressed over his wife's death, and he is very overprotective of Dale because he's like the son he never had.
Matt Ward: A mid 20s african american thief. He is Willy's partner, he always helps him in his plans. He is very helpful to him because he's a tecnology expert. Matt always tries to lighten the situation with his humour and charisma, and he even believes that this world might recover some day.
Alex Grant: The main antagonist of the film. He's a mid 50s bussinessman who lives in a different part of the world where wealthy people live with no problems. After he found out that they had found the last creature of its rare species, he travels to the poor section of the world to buy Comet. He tells Korey that Comet is going to live in a very good place, far away from this terrible part of the world, but actually he has very bad plans for him. He, along with Korey and a group of soilders goes searching for Comet, after Dale and the thieves sets him free. He's the only character in the movie who is elegant and well dressed, compared with the other characters of the film who look dirty and messy.
Korey Holland: Secondary antagonist. He is a mid 40s circus showman. He looks like a very charismatic man on stage, but he's actually a terrible human being. He's the abusive owner of Comet, he always insults him, intimidates him and at times beats him. He just wants to exhibit the creature to the people so he can gain enough money to go to the hospital in the wealthy part of the world, so they can cure his terminal illness. He joins Alex in the search for the Comet because he promised him that after they find him, he's going to take him to the hospital to cure his illness, and he's going to pay for his medical treatment.
Lottie Swan: A mid 20s kind and optimistic circus acrobat who does not accept Korey's mistreatment to Comet. She's the only one in the circus who's aware of Dale's friendship with Comet, and she supports it. She secretly follows Alex and Korey, because she dosn't want to see Comet getting captured, she wants him to find his freedom.
Dale Sanders (30 year old): The narrator of the film
