Welcome to Midland Grove, a small town full of nice people that's inside an online life simulation game (exactly like The Sims), where every people living there is an avatar controlled by users living on a real world. The only times where those avatars are in freedom to do anything they want are when the user is not commanding them to do actions or when the user closes the game.
The main story revolves around a teenage avatar named Eddie Barton. His life will take a strange turn when somehow he discovers in his dreams the truth about that artificial world he's living.
Eddie does not care that the other avatars want to catch him to take him to the mental hospital, he will defy the user that has been constantly controlling him for the rest of his life, by trying to search more terrible truths about this fake world he's living and the “supposledly perfect” real world where the users live.
(NOTE: This movie is like The Truman Show and a little bit of Being John Malkovich but taking place inside a life simulation videogame. The movie's tone is going to be darkly comedic and a little bit weird, complex and satirical at times)
RATED PG-13 for language including sexual references and some violence

Dr. Franklin Meredith: A mid 60s therapist that constantly tells him that the real world dosn't exist, everything are just weird and dumb dreams, but Eddie not only tries to convince him that he's an avatar, he says to him that he didn't chose the job of therapist, his user did it for him, but Franklin still dosn't believe him. He recommends Kristen to give him medicines and then take him to the mental hospital.
