(Not a sequel, it's a reboot ignoring the other AVP movies as well as creating it's own standalone narrative apart from the other alien and predator movies.)
During an archaeological and biotechnological expedition on a distant alien planet lead by Weyland-Yutani, a series of horrific events very quickly lead to all out at war between human, alien and predator. And all matters are made worse when the company's secret and deadly new weapon is revealed… (that being this thing: https://www.sideshowtoy.com/assets/products/200333-alien-king/lg/aliens-alien-king-maquette-200333-07.jpg)
(Essentially, this film's plot is a combination of the 2010 video game (though loosely of sorts) and the comic book story Aliens: Rogue which introduced the rogue/“king” Xenomorph)
MPAA Rating: Rated R for strong sci-fi creature violence and gore, and language throughout.
Private Malcolm Jay - Lead human character, a lone rookie colonial marine who starts off as a troubled and inexperienced outcast on his first time in combat and becomes a more hardened and determined survivor/warrior as the movie progresses.
Staff Sergeant Collette Ruddock - A sarcastic tough-as-nails colonial marine with a heart of gold who takes a liking to Jay and she helps to guide him.
Caleb Weyland - Ambitious yet ruthless and seeming unstoppable co-head of Weyland-Yutani and the leader of the expedition. (Obviously, he serves as the main human antagonist.)
Evelyn Yutani - Equally ambitious and ruthless but persuasive co-head of Weyland-Yutani. (Though she has a much smaller role compared to Weyland)
Elle - A female android who defies Weyland's orders to assist Jay and Ruddock.
Doctor Sullivan - The expedition's slimy lead scientist who created the rogue/“king” Xenomorph. (He serves as the secondary human antagonist)
Major Crane - Hard-ass colonial marine leader who constantly treats Jay badly.
