The life of bank robber Mickey Ellis will change when he meets Lisa Crawford, a family woman who is looking for more excitement in her life. They both fall in love, and become "The modern day Bonnie and Clyde", everyone knows them as the most dangerous and most wanted couple in the United States.
But when their relationship suddenly starts to be at risk, Mickey & Lisa, along with Lisa's son and Mickey's partner, decide to go on a road trip to Las Vegas in a RV that they stoled, to carry out their biggest, craziest and complicated heist yet, during Mickey's old enemy Donald Goodman's casino/hotel grand opening.
RATED R for violence, strong language and sexuality/nudity
INSPIRATIONS: Bonnie and Clyde, the Ocean's Trilogy, Heat and a little bit of Little Miss Sunshine
(Note: The movie's heart will mostly center on Mickey and Lisa's romantic but dysfinctional relationship, as they go living a life full of excitement and action, while also dealing with the strong consequences of it. Their relationship is like a mixture between Bonnie & Clyde and a little bit of Joker & Harley Quinn. The movie as a whole is going to be light, with some dark moments, it's going to be very witty and with a style of humour similar to The Nice Guys.)
Michael "Mickey" Ellis: A mid 30s charming, funny and charismatic bank robber, he is very smart and cautious, he always comes with a great plan. Played by a famous and charismatic actor.
Lisa Crawford: A mid 20s wife who had a boring life with his nice but boring husband Sean, until she meet Mickey, so she divorces Sean so he can be with Mickey because he is a more awesome guy. With the passage of time, she becomes as great as Mickey is robbing banks. Played by a famous and charismatic actress.
Matt Crawford: Lisa's 11 year old son. He is not the nice kid that most people think he is, Matt is really smart, knows how to a gun and even throw some swear words. He says when he grows up, he wants to be a bank robber just like them, Mickey and Lisa are always so proud to hear that.
Daniel: Mickey's mexican best friend and partner in crime, that also joins in the road trip. He is mainly the comic relief, he is very energetic, fast talking but unpredictable. He is kinda like the Joe Pesci in Goodfellas.
Donald Goodman: Main antagonist. He is a mid 50s billionaire man, he is a very greedy, mean and arrogant hotel owner, who years ago he was a friend of Mickey, until he betrays him, and now they are mortal enemies.
Tony Mullins: Secondary antagonist. A mid 40s sarcastic cop who won't stop at nothing to catch the couple. He is the one that came up with the name "the modern day Bonnie & Clyde".
Sean Crawford: Lisa's mid 30s ex husband. Lisa divorces him because he thinks Mickey is more attractive and awesome than him. Sean is a very kind and overly nice husband that does everything to make Lisa to get out the criminal life and come back with him, even if she don't want that.
A famous celebrity makes a cameo during the third act of the film, where he is found playing poker along with Donald Goodman.
