Emotionally and mentally traumatized young woman Hope Moore hates her father, ever since a horrific incident in the past that she blames him for and they haven't spoken in years. Hope's father is washed-up method actor and horror movie icon Richard Areland, famous for portraying the hands-obsessed serial killer Harry the Handyman in the popular yet extraordinarily flawed “Handz” film franchise which will soon be rebooted. Begrudgingly under the advice of her psychologist/foster father, Hope travels to Los Angeles to try and makes amends with her father, but upon arriving, reports come flooding in over the city of grotesque murders that are replicating the deaths from the Handz movies right down to the victims having their hands severed, while the LAPD are thinking it's the work of copycats in response to the production of the upcoming reboot, but Hope eventually discovers some dark secrets about her father.
MPAA Rating: Rated R for strong horror violence, grisly images, language and some sexuality/graphic nudity.
