The invasion has begun. Krampus now unleashes hell from the North Pole and his army will stop at nothing to rid the Earth of their jolly holidays and life. Sean Evans is left devastated at his own personal secret, reluctant to retaliate against the brutish beast. The resistance is nowhere to be found, and St. Nicholas is our only hope of saving Christmas and humanity in less than 72 hours. Who will emerge the survivors and the saviors of Christmas Day?
MPAA: Rated R for bloody sci-fi violence throughout, peril, brief strong language and some thematic material.
(In this final entry of my Christmas trilogy, Krampus reveals himself to be one of the men who used to portray St. Nicholas until a soul from Hell followed him secretly during one of his returns to his home on Earth and wanted to pass the torch of Santa Claus to somebody else, instead being possessed by Krampus and preying on the younglings whilst having a personal vendetta against Santa Claus for banishing him from his civilization for his corrupt deeds by stealing presents from the children and kidnapping them to have an army of his own to eradicate the tradition and replace it with a serious tragedy. Sean Evans soon realizes that Krampus is his father who died when he was a child during his father’s time as Santa Claus and is uncertain whether to kill Krampus to put his father out of his misery or join forces with St. Nicholas to bring the light back into Krampus and cleanse the soul forever to rescue his father. So, there is a tragic ending for Sean on an emotional level and a happy ending for Santa Claus and humanity. This will NOT fit in with my Halloween thriller trilogy universe, this is a stand-alone franchise.)
Sean Evans / Caleb Daniels – A 27-year-old truck driver from NYC who was transported to the North Pole and imprisoned by Krampus; he is revealed to be Krampus’s father from the past and was raised by foster parents due to Caleb/Sean’s father’s death.
Krampus / Adrian Daniels – The main antagonist of the movie and a malicious spirit hellbent on revenge and destroying the Christmas tradition; the creature reveals himself to be Sean’s late biological father who died in a freak accident and was possessed by Krampus from another universe.
St. Nicholas / Commander Nick Dallas – Former leader of the North Pole turned powerful commander of his army of elves and reindeer, wanting to end Krampus and his malevolent mission to end Christmas. (Think of Santa Claus with the badassness of Rick Grimes.)
Neddar Grinch – The “Grinch” and Krampus’s right-hand man.
Gingersnap Miraclemyrrh – The “ice queen” and ninja elf-woman who is Krampus’s second-in-command.
Flake Grumblebringer – Anti-heroic dwarf who sides with Sean/Caleb after hearing the painful truth about Krampus.
Nadine Daniels – Sean/Caleb’s biological mother who mysteriously vanished after Adrian’s death and is now a Snow Angel who works alongside St. Nicholas in stopping the war.
