STEPHEN KING'S MAINE by Tristan Hartup and Stephen King

When you read a bunch of Stephen King stories, you begin to notice a lot of reoccurring troupes and clichés that show up (not that there's anything wrong with that… entirely), this show both satirizes and homages these troupes and clichés, the show takes place in Maine ('Cause King has a fetish for that place) and follows the Stephen King stock characters as they encounter weird and supernatural occurrences. Each episode pays homage to King's stories and there will be Easter eggs and cameos from some well-known King characters.

Jim Trembley - Divorced down on his luck former architect (Stephen King stock character: Alcoholic.)

Blakely Danvers - Happy go lucky recent college graduate (Stephen King stock character: Writer.)

Tim Theroux - A young boy with Autism (Stephen King stock character: Psychic.)

Marlene Apples - Charity store owner (Stephen King stock character: Religious nut.)

Dewey Tombs - A boy who bullies Tim (Stephen King stock character: One dimensional bully with no redeeming qualities.)

Hugh Reddie - A car mechanic who loves pissing people off (Stephen King stock character: Redneck.)
