FROM THE SKIES by John Silver ("Mutant Weapon") and Tristan Hartup ("Dead Out West")

Recovering from a near death experience with an excruciating battle against the undead, ruthless outlaw turned lone survivor Troy Elliott (“Killer”) is still not at peace with himself after struggling to change into a different man. Everything changes when a shooting star strikes down in the middle of the Wild West, prompting the man to investigate the crash site.

Marlene Hawkins, miraculously cured from her infection but completely deprived of her superhuman abilities awakens in the Wild West and is taken in by a no nonsense sheriff who rules his town with an iron fist. She does not remember where she came from nor any events of her past, only a clue to the scars on her body. The Sheriff presumes she is one of the undead, but after Marlene awakens, he immediately identifies the woman as a threat to the public eye and demands she does not leave his town.

Troy decides to sneak Marlene out of the town believing that she is not a grave threat to the world, but does not take what happens next as a danger to his life and the people in the Wild West.

Influences: Cowboys and Aliens, Midnight Special and Red Dead Redemption: Ultimate Nightmare.

MPAA: Rated R for intense sequences of western horror violence/gore throughout, brief strong language and some sexuality/nudity.

Note: This would serve as an unofficial sequel to both Mutant Weapon and Dead Out West, keeping it grounded by eliminating Marlene's super abilities in order to avoid making a CGI-infested movie and leaving some room for development. Also, this movie would balance the focus between Troy after brushing through the apocalypse, Marlene after her monstrous side is depleted, and the town Troy walks into with possible clues to his past. There will be NO romance in the movie and avoiding the aliens and zombies mash-up cliche.

Other Characters:

The Sheriff - A young-looking but gruff man in his 40's hiding a dark secret about his people and overly curious about Marlene.
Jay Washington - The Sheriff's right-hand man; he claims he used to be a member of Elliott's group.
Analisa - Strong-willed but introverted woman who poses as a prostitute to bring down The Sheriff.
“Dahk” - The Native American doctor of the Wild West who is burned out from the life of the zombie apocalypse.
Ginnie - Analisa's younger sister with a heart of gold and charm who looks at Troy as a father figure after losing her parents to the undead.
