Part five of Volume II of my DC cinematic universe “rebirth” series.
Hal Jordan continues his work as the Green Lantern tasked with protecting Sector 2814 of the galaxy, alongside his primary partner Thaal Sinestro. However, Hal soon finds himself struggling to focus, and suffering from intense fits of emotion, including fear. All of the occurrences are linked by a message delivered by his own ring: “Parallax is coming.” As an ancient force is awakened, angry and hungry, the Lanterns, alongside two more newly recruited Earth-based Lanterns, John Stewart, a U.S. Marine, and Kyle Rayner, a freelance artist, find themselves facing their greatest threat yet, one capable of turning their own members against each other.
