Ian Dreven is a hateful yet quiet young man who frequently rides the bus with no real destination in mind, just anywhere where he can clear his mind of anything bad in his life. Eventually, Ian for whatever reason begins to be very suspicious of other frequent bus riders and starts to suspect that one of them might be a serial killer. So he begins an obsessive investigation to confirm his suspicion, and everyone around him begins to think he's being unreasonably paranoid and is just making all of this up to justice his unwarranted distrust in people, but Ian refuses to believe it and aggressively tries to prove them wrong.
(Note: Essentially, the line between whether or not Ian's suspicion is true is really blurry.)
