A parody of many preachy Christian movies, done in the style of “Airplane!” and the Scary Movie franchise.
Bill Hart, an elder devout Christian dying of heart disease believes that God is planning to wipe out the Earth and destroy the human race, but knows there is some good left in this world among the wicked and desperately tries to warn the people of his incoming presence. His youngest college aged son Carl, however, believes the opposite – there is no God, and he doesn’t exist; if God existed, he would only bring about harm, and that his plan is just to sit back and do nothing to the world.
One day, several strange occurances begin taking place around the neighborhood – a young woman with breathing problems is mistaken to be a contagious zombie from the grave, a man who has had a near-death experience begins to haunt people in his old house, and a “cult” of Satanists are actually college students making a horror movie, which all confuse the elderly father and causes him to cause actual havoc within his home.
But a greater threat emerges – an unknown cataclysm is coming to Earth in 3 days, and only those who believe in God will survive and create a new generation of humans. Carl, with no choice but to convince himself that all this is happening, must find clues behind the disaster and prevent humanity from extinction.
