THE LONER by Tristan Hartup

As a result of the traumatic loss of his family that happened a number of years ago, young man Tom has decided to live a life of being alone forever, he doesn't communicate with anyone and tries to avoid any social interaction, he's not on any social media site, he spends a lot of his time sitting alone in his house, hanging out in old abandoned buildings, takes long walks by himself very early in the morning and very late at night, and he tends to self harm. Eventually, Tom crosses paths with Scarlett, a pretty, zany, free-spirited yet fragile (as evidenced by a cast on her arm resulting from a broken arm inflicted by her ex-boyfriend) young woman, who though the two initially get off on the wrong foot with him coming off as antisocial and very shy around her, Scarlett realises the hardship he's gone through and the lifestyle he's living and she feels compassionate towards him and wants to help him.

MPAA Rating: Rated R for sexuality/nudity, language and brief violence.

Nicole, Rick and Amy - Tom's mom, dad and younger sister who were killed in a horrific car wreck.

Dr Reland - Psychiatrist who desperately tries to help Tom.

Matthew - Scarlett's ex-boyfriend who broke her arm.

(P.S: When casting, leave the casting of Tom and Scarlett alone.)
