After a series cryptic messages and bizarre activity from his powers, time jumper John Hawke wakes up to find himself in the hands of Payton-Marcus Enterprises, who have extracted his blood to spice it with vampire DNA to create a superior race of creatures, in addition they have suppressed his abilities in order to keep him captive. Until the operation goes haywire when the creatures escape and proceed to cause an bloodthirsty infestation across all time lines, Though weak and almost on the brink of death, John manages to escape and soon crosses paths with former humanoid soldier and lone wanderer Anon, the two team up to survive, take back John's powers and stop the infestation.
