My revision of World Crisis, but with ideas suggested by vin13ish.
In the future, the Milky Way galaxy is doomed to darkness and new planets have habituated as a result of an unknown space war that caused other planets in the Solar System such as Mars, Neptune, and Jupiter to fall to obscurity while all worlds are getting pulled apart.
It is up to several bands of civilization - The Humans, aliens, buried legends, and even the angels and demons to face the threat responsible for awakening the true heavens and hell of our world and find the truths behind to the prophecies of our lives. All while dealing with the troubles of forming alliances and leaving behind bitter feuds and false beliefs of the nature of our world.
Comparison Pitch: An over-the-top but epic combination of Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, The Matrix, Suicide Squad, and Escape from New York.
MPAA: Rated R for intense sequences of bloody sci-fi violence/gore and action throughout, graphic sexuality/nudity, themetic material, and strong langauge.
Note: This is an all-star/ensemble cast entry. The first part also focuses on the development of the four different species and the start of their journeys, bringing some of them together to form an unlikely alliance.
John Smith - A 25 to 30 year old tough-as-nails ex-Marine soldier turned space warrior with a mysterious past and a strong-silent type but short temper when he has trouble leading teams and is considered an absolute loner. (Think the Driver from Drive mixed with Neo.) (Hero.)
Lester Mindock - Timid and clumsy space spy who sides with John during the journey, sometimes providing comic relief over the most dangerous situations. (Supporting Hero.)
Veronica Masther - A clever but a sly martial artist and straight-to-the-point mapper who leads one of the remaining human groups. (Anti-Hero.)
Zylini - Antagonistic prince of his alien home between Mars and Earth, wanting to rule his kingdom and send soldiers after anybody who stands in the way of power and order. (Villain.)
Aepsynue - Female alien warrior and Zylini's former protege who is assigned a task to capture John Smith to get any of the whereabouts of the source of the Space War. (Hero.)

Bluammaln - The eldest king of his Alien kingdom who is dying of age and only trusts Aepsyune and Kuab to take over when he dies, believing that his son Zylini is too corrupt with power and chaos. (Anti-Hero.)
Adonis the Almighty - An immortal wizard from the Greek ages who awakens to discover the critical errors of humanity and the way of life. (Anti-Hero.)
Zeus - The omnipotent God who also awakens from the disaster and sees that the galaxy is in chaos, seeing this as his opportunity to create a better world. (Anti-Hero who later becomes a villain.)
Kaimaen - Mortal warrior of 100 years with a middle-aged appearance who awakens in the alien home during John Smith's capture and escape from Zylini; teaming up with both Smith and Aepsyune for the journey. (Half bird/half human, Anti-Hero who is later Supporting hero.)
Samara Nyyrikki - Young and beautiful foreign ruler who was captured by Zylini but is mind controlled to kill anyone who gets in her way. (Villain.)

Hannistal Merdock / Man-Eater - A half-orc/half-carnivorous reptile who lives in the oceans of his home planet which is dominant with reptiles and carnivores. (Supporting Hero.)
Rooney Oswald - Mysterious old human from John Smith's past whom the young man sees in his dreams. (Neutral.)
Dacrog - Humanoid prince who is Zylini's superior but wants to stay neutral with the Humans and the other races troubled by the space war; ability to shoot arrows and sword fight. (Supporting Hero.)
Darlath, The Protector of Life - Young but with a rapidly aging soul that slowly changes his physical appearance; the one man who may have the answers as to finding the source of the beginning of the space war responsible for destroying the galaxy. (Neutral)
Willow Wonterg - Foreign wanderer who tries to find his strength and courage to make his last journey worthwhile before he dies. (Hero)
