Liam Holmes is a lonely 30 year old ex-Marine who struggles with his PTSD and disconnection from reality. He is traveling to South Africa in hopes of looking for a job as a international security guard for one of the state's largest banks.

Meanwhile, a poor family living in South Africa is looking for an opportunity to escape the poverty and reach the United States, in hopes of a better life. Factory worker Chidike Soloman and his faithful wife have trouble supporting their family financially but all that changes when Chidike discovers a bag of money that was tossed out and he uses this opportunity to take the money, while getting connections with some of his older acquaintances to get passports to the US.

All goes well for the Soloman family as they try to keep low profile, but just as they are about to sneak out, they are attacked by gangsters who rob them until a plane crashes far away from the city where Liam is the only survivor, mortally injured and is rescued by the Soloman's youngest son Baako just as the crashed plane is engulfed into flames.

With a hard-nosed South African soldier and a man from Chidike's past hot on their trails, Liam will have to protect the family at whatever cost and get them out of the country.

MPAA Rated R for strong violence and language throughout.
