Rachel Bannister is a troubled but bold British woman in her early 40's who is visiting the state of Texas in a attempt to reconnect with her estranged American son after the death of her husband in a drastic car accident. His son is 24 year old Brandon, who suffers from muscular dystrophy, which seemingly disables his ability to walk or run.
While visiting a bar one day to celebrate with her American friends, Rachel takes notice of a group of bikers who appear seemingly normal until one of them hits on Rachel and she rejects him due to his seemingly sadistic nature. This alerts the bikers, who confront Rachel and almost harass her until she escapes the bar and is forced to find Brandon, who fears that he might be a target to the bikers.
Soon, what turns from an ongoing chase to a fight for survival as Rachel and her son are forced to stick together and battle against the bikers while discovering that one of the bikers used to be involved with Rachel.
