Chris and Scarlett are very different from each other, Chris is an unambitious goofy wannabe cool guy slacker who wants his life to be nothing but a good time, and Scarlett is an uptight oversensitive workaholic who desperately tries anything to achieve the life she's always dreamt about, but despite this, the two have just gotten married and have just bought a house together, but their own setbacks are taking a toll on their relationship as Chris wants Scarlett to loosen up and take a break to enjoy herself and the two of them together as well as him wanting to know if she actually loves him, and Scarlett wants Chris to grow up and start taking life seriously. But all this begins to unfold as they greet their new neighbours who are, in a weird twist, a family of robots who were designed and programmed to be the perfect model family.
