Carl Hoyt, a downbeat blue collar mechanic in his 30's is suffering depression and lack of interest in life. He is unable to connect with his own co-workers and girlfriend, whilst being fired by his corrupt and brooding boss.
One day, while walking home from work, Carl is brutally attacked by a group of gangsters, led by a man known as “Aces”, in which they rob him and leave him for dead. It isn't until Carl survives and awakens days later, realizing he has the ability to look back into his past and into the future for two minutes.
After sneaking out of the hospital, Carl stumbles across an empty warehouse, and begins to develop his alternate persona, Midnight Shadow.
While keeping his psychic abilities and alter ego a secret, Carl's desire for vengeance against the gang who left him for dead will create an even more dangerous obstacle for his mentality and the gang's incredibly manipulative methods that will expose Carl and his alter ego and put his girlfriend at risk of getting killed while defending a man who used to be a part of the gang who beat down Carl.
MPAA: Rated R for brutal violence throughout, some sexuality and nudity, and strong language.
