A Murder Is Announced by Agatha Christie - Plot Variations By J.D Taylor

When a murder taking place at a house called Little Paddocks at 7pm is advertised in the Chipping Cleghorn gazette, a handful of guests turn up at Letitia Blacklock's door. The middle-aged widow tells her visitors that she is just as mystified by the ad as everyone present. The ‘event’ occurs, ending with a body of a young Swiss man - Rudy Schertz - being found on the floor. A friend of the former head of Scotland Yard, Miss Marple reads about the death and believes that there is more to this situation than appears on the surface. Teaming up with Inspector Craddock, she uncovers secrets that put a different spin on this murder investigation…
