A group of 4 friends visit their old high school friends in Miami for the Christmas-New Year's weekend. What is supposed to be a cheery and exciting vacation turns into a nightmare when sinkholes cause damage to the city, and the mutants are released. Knowing that the state of Florida is now in danger of the monstrous beings, the friends must survive and escape the state with the help of Sean, who knows more about the creatures while he was stuck in the hospital.
MPAA: Rated R for intense sci-fi horror violence/gore, partying, brief drug use, and strong language throughout.

Sean Davidson - The 17 year old kid who escaped the mansion is now held underground and obtains some of the mutant's abilities due to his immunity to the virus.
Jeremy - A no-nonsense college dropout who desperately wants to enlist with the police force.
Kaitlyn - Jeremy's hot girlfriend who has a fear of heights.
Nicole - A socially awkward girl who is heavily interested in horror movies.
Francis - Nicole's older fast-talking brother who used to be a party animal.
George - A extroverted ladies man who tries to break out of his dorky and bookworm personality.
Ryan - George's uppity ex-girlfriend who takes an interest in Francis because of his alpha male attitude.
Alex - Jeremy's old friend who used to be in jail for theft and is trying to live a normal life.
Agent Colbert - A brooding and out-of-the-box head of the “Hangout” Operation who chases after Sean when he escapes the underground lab.
