(Part 1 of my idea for a trilogy.)
In the future, the planet Earth is doomed to eternity. A biological agent originated from an extraterrestrial ship that crash landed on Earth has wiped out half of the human race. Now, what is left of the population on Earth is being overrun by machines and alien life forms who clash against each other in order to take control of humanity and inhabit malicious organisms capable of reforming Earth into a crater planet like the Moon.
Now, the fate of the human race is depending on a small band of rebels, and a man who was a former Sergeant in the military, to join forces to reach to the other side of the globe (somewhere in South America), where there is hope in rescuing another group of rebellious soldiers in need of assistance.
MPAA: Rated PG-13 for frenetic sequences of action and violence, terror, intense peril, and brief strong language.
(This is an idea I had for a very long time, originally with something similar to Star Wars meets The Hobbit but in a modern time with other elements in certain movies mixed in.)
(Think of Fury meets The Maze Runner meets Terminator with a mix of Lord of the Rings.)
Characters:
Sergeant Jonathan Maximus “John” Hale – A honorably discharged 28 year old American who lives his life as a farmer with a low key life, trying to forget his traumatic past until he joins up with the rebel soldiers. (Think Luke Skywalker with a mix of Max Rockatansky.)
Major General Edward Tiberius King – A hard as nails, but secretly generous British leader who guides his companions and John into the journey into reaching the other side of the globe. (Think of Captain Kirk from Star Trek mixed with Gandalf from LOTR and Captain Price from Call of Duty.)
Lieutenant Gerard Banning – A high and mighty combat hard soldier being the tall, intimidating and rough heavy weapons man.
Private First Class Adam Kowalski – A soft-hearted man who tries to fit in with the rebels in order to be more worthy of battling the dangers on the planet.
Private Hugh Newman – A friendly Irish soldier who lives on his wits and thoughts, being the “map” and sniper of the group. He takes a liking to Hale, who he sees potential for him to become King's secondary right hand man.
Technician Sergeant Sergei Agafnov – A middle-aged Russian soldier who formerly resided in Europe, living with his own sense of humor and laidback attitude, even under the pressures of being attacked. (Think of Nikolai from Call of Duty zombies)
Lieutenant Victor “Axel” Butler – A Spanish-American soldier, who obtains his “bad boy” attitude along with his combat skills and takes no liking to anyone that gets in his way of completing his mission.
Sergeant First Class Amelia Rose Palmer – The only female soldier in the group, who is searching for her family that got separated from her in the war. Courageous and relentless, she is King's right hand woman.
The General (Off-Screen Character) - A 60 year old United States General who communicates with the rebels and is their only hope into reaching the destination.
