DARK SHIELD: DAYS OF CANCELLING by Tristan Hartup

After having overcome his emotional torment and successfully made a huge comeback, Derren Crest a.k.a Dark Shield starts looking for recruiting other superpowered people, but out of this, Derren fears he might come across a potential supervillain. After a long while, billionaire playboy weapons manufacturer Forrest Huddleson presents a new biological personal sercuity system demolishing all crime and rendering superheroes invalid. But, Derren not wanting to give up superhero duties, decides to make the people need superheroes again by going against his worries to create a supervillain that bypass the Huddleson ware and make superheroes valid, soon he finds the perfect candidate, a young man named Seward Winslow a.k.a Dark Cancellor. What starts out as excellent farce going according to plan very quickly begins the real deal when dark secrets from Seward's mysterious past come into the foreground and Derren dives into a desperate battle against the thing he created. Also, some of Derren's friends may not be who he thinks they are.

MPAA Rating: Rated R for strong sci-fi violence and language including some sexual references
