Memory by Universal Pictures/Screen Gems

Plot: 28 year old Cole wakes up in a hospital with no memory of who he is, how he got there, and discovers bruises and cuts on his body. As he exits the hospital, Cole realizes the place is abandoned and is forced to go outside, where he sees the world in complete devastation through his eyes. While the man walks among the destruction, his only clue is a woman that appeared in his dreams before his amnesia, that may get him to remember who he is and what has happened, all while evading deadly weather conditions and any violent and mentally deranged bandits.

MPAA: Rated R for strong violence/gore, sexuality/nudity, and pervasive language.

Influences for the Story: 28 Days Later, The Road, Hours, and I Am Alive (Indie video game).

Cole - A 28 year old man suffering from amnesia, wakes up in the hospital, recovering from his mysterious injuries. As he walks through the chaos inflicted in Los Angeles, Cole encounters several dangerous weather incidents, such as extreme lightning storms, flash floods, and any potential weather leading to hurricanes. He also confronts bloodthirsty bandits who are possibly cannibals or simply mentally insane criminals who try to kill him. His only clue is a mysterious woman who appears in his dreams, that lead him to regain knowledge of any past events.

The Woman - A mysterious blonde woman who appears in Cole's dreams and may be the lead to getting Cole's memories back, which also leads to a very mysterious secret in the process.

Sergeant Francis Goodman - A mid 30's to early 40's Sergeant in the Military whom Cole encounters along the path to leaving Los Angeles. Goodman is a combat hard, ex-Marine who trusts no one and shoots first, asks questions later. Along the way, Goodman finds Cole trustworthy to fight alongside while escaping the destruction of the city.

Krystal - A young woman in her early to mid 20's. She is charming, but is very quiet and an and obtains knowledge of the events that led to the cities falling to havoc and may have a lead to a sanctuary somewhere on Earth.

The Hunters - The three cannibalistic and psychotic bandits (Roland being the eldest, Gonzalez being the middle, and Beck the youngest) who stalk Cole throughout his journey, with very malicious intentions and will not stop until they kill him.

Vince - A 35 to 45 year old man, who deals with severe trauma and paranoia while avoiding any dangerous obstacles that lie ahead of him. He is very reluctant to join Cole, Goodman, and Krystal after a brief encounter with one of the hunters.
