Yogi Bear is a fictional anthropomorphic bear who appears in animated cartoons created by Hanna-Barbera Productions. He made his debut in 1958 as a supporting character in The Huckleberry Hound Show. He was the first break-out character created by Hanna-Barbera Studios, and was eventually more popular than Huckleberry Hound. In 1961 he was given his own show, The Yogi Bear Show, which also included the segments Snagglepuss and Yakky Doodle. Hokey Wolf replaced his segment on The Huckleberry Hound Show. A musical animated feature film, Hey There, It's Yogi Bear!, was produced in 1964.
The Ren and Stimpy Show is an American/Canadian animated television series created by Canadian animator John Kricfalusi. The series concerns the adventures of the eponymous characters: Ren Höek, a psychotic "asthma-hound" chihuahua, and Stimpson J. Cat, — a dimwitted manx cat. They wander around having nonsensical adventures in a style reminiscent of the Golden Age of American animation, especially the 1940s cartoons by Bob Clampett and Tex Avery.
Captain Caveman and the Teen Angels centers on the mystery-solving adventures of the Teen Angels — Brenda, Dee Dee and Taffy — and their friend Captain Caveman (or Cavey for short), a prehistoric caveman whom the girls discovered and thawed from a block of ice. The concept and general plot for the show was seen as a parody of Charlie's Angels (which also aired on ABC).
