Kal-El believes in himself that he is the only survivor to his home planet til then he meets his cousin on earth who survived from Krypton's destruction. Her name is Kara as Niece to Jor-El and Daughter of Zor-El who survive in an isolated civilization of Krypton's core called Argo City. On Earth she becomes "The Girl of Steel" who has same powers that he has. They are in a battle with their arch enemy of Krypton called Brainiac who is taken advantage of Krypton's civilization called Kandor. Superman and Supergirl must save the Kryptonian race of their homeworld.
