Kratos, the Spartan warrior, known as "The Ghost of Sparta", who is also in servitude to the Gods, must stop Ares, the God of War, from destroying Athens. To do so, he must kill Ares. In order for Kratos, a mortal, to kill Ares, a God, he must travel to Pandora's Temple and use Pandora's box to kill Ares. In the box contains powers that a mortal can use to kill a God.
